The Voluntary Register

Regulation of healthcare professionals is to protect the health and wellbeing of the general public using their services.

The Voluntary Register of Clinical Technologists was set up in preparation for the regulation of Clinical Technologists by the Health Professions Council.  

A voluntary register of Clinical Technologists who meet the criteria for standards of training, professional skills, behaviour and health agreed by the voluntary register panel has been established.

You can use the on-line register on this page to check if your health professional or the health professional you are about to use is registered.

Any member of the Register that does not pay their annual renewal fee will be removed from the Register.
